Winsome Weims

Winsome Weims is dedicated to breeding high quality field, hunting, and show dogs with excellent conformation and superb temperaments. Our Champion worldwide bloodlines are bred to Champions to compete in field trials, shows, and to be a hunting dog you can be proud of. We are proud members of the WCA and only breed to improve the Weimaraner.

Our Weimaraners have been featured in 2006, and 2007 on the Outdoor Channel's popular television show Bass Pro Shops Next Generation. Winsome Weims is located in Northwest Iowa right in the middle of some of the finest pheasant hunting in the United States. Our main focus in breeding Weimaraners has been to bring back the hunting drive that seems to be a secondary thought of many show breeders. While our dogs compete very successfully at dog shows, our main focus is breeding a hunting dog that you can compete with in both conformation and field events. As the Weimaraner has become more popular, many people have started breeding this beautiful dog with no regard to what it was originally bred to do. The Weimaraner is and always will be a sporting dog. They should be your best friend and a loyal companion while giving you his all in the field.

We occasionally have puppies available to approved homes. Please call or email about our up coming litters. Many times our puppies are spoken for before they are born so please keep that in mind when you are looking for your next companion.
