At Little Orchid's we are
working hard to improve the breed. Our adults are DNA tested for renal
dysplasia, hips are checked for hip dysplasia, and blood work is ran on
parents each year to make sure genetic problems aren't being carried to
puppies. We feel that everyone wants a beautiful puppy so we have
purchased parents from champion bloodlines. Many of our puppies are show
quality and a variety of colors. We pride ourselves in breeding only our
best Shih Tzus to give us good confirmation, coats, gait, intelligence
and personality. We raise our puppies like our parents are kept as our
pets. They live right in the home with us we just have more than most
people. We are retired and devote our lives to our Shih Tzus. We potty
train our puppies before they leave us to insure they make easier
transitions into their new homes.
We do have a two year guarantee against genetic problems that are life threatening. We offer a lifetime of support to our families that buy our puppies and always welcome questions. We love to hear about our babies. We place our puppies carefully and can often match personalities to just the right family. We breed each of our females once yearly if they are in good health. We usually breed them for four years. We sometimes place adults if we feel like they will make good adjustments to new homes. Some of our adults that are too attached to us will live with us forever. We welcome questions and comments and getting to know people who love Shih Tzus like we do. |
