WEIS SHELTIES

Welcome to Weis Shelties. I am Vicki Weis of Redwood Falls, MN. I am 58 years old my children are grown and my shelties are my life. I have 2 children and 3 grand children who love to visit and play with my dogs. My dogs are first and foremost my pets.

My love for shelties began in 1993 when I purchased Sadie (1993-2005) from a local pet store. This purchase was very rewarding but truly a heartache. Sadie had hip dysphasia, eye problems and seizures. I have learned so much about the importance of testing your breeding dogs after seeing all of Sadie's problems first hand. My breeding dogs are tested, as they become the correct age for the test required.

I decided there was a need for a breeder who has good quality, well rounded, socialized puppies. We offer Sable & White, Tri-colored, Blue Merle, Bi-Black, and Bi-Blue Shetland Sheepdogs. Our Shelties are AKC registered. I give a 2-year health guarantee for anything hereditary. My puppies are vet checked, first shots, wormed, dewclaws removed, lifetime support and home visits are welcomed. We socialize your future puppy; expose him/her to new sights and sounds so that going to your new home is easy for your puppy. If you are looking for an outgoing, healthy puppy, look no further. We are two and a half hours west of Minneapolis, MN and we ship weather permitting on Northwest Airlines out of Minneapolis at buyer�s expense anywhere in the United State, Canada or Alaska. We try to get a direct flight which is better for the puppy or dog. We do not ship overseas.

Shelties are wonderful family members and good with children. They are good for apartments as long as they get exercise daily. Shelties love the outdoors but basically needs to be an indoor dog. There weight is 15-25 lbs. They are really loyal friends. We have show/breeding prospects occasionally along with the family pets.
