Midwest Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Midwest Rhodesian Ridgebacks is a small kennel located on 5 1/2 acres in Southwest Nebraska. We pride ourselves on our dogs outstanding temperaments, conformation and intelligence. All our dogs represent the magnificent qualities that were established years ago when the breed first came into existence and it is our mission to secure those same qualities today and in the future.

From birth our puppies are raised with the future in mind. Each individual puppy is given the proper care and attention needed in order to ensure that they mature into everything the breed was originally intended to be. Our puppies are raised inside our home and from birth are surrounded by our entire family, which consists of three small children. Days after their birth, our two oldest children take part in caring for our puppies. Daily they aid my husband and I with all the responsibilities of raising strong, healthy and socially sound animals. These responsibilities include cleaning of the whelping area and when litters are large they aid in bottle-feeding the puppies in order to ensure that all the puppies are getting the proper nutrition needed to grow into beautiful healthy pets. All our puppies are vet checked several times prior to being placed in their new homes and come with a one-year genetic health guarantee. They are given all vaccinations, are AKC registered and have their dew claws removed within the first few days of life. They are also well socialized and began leash training around five weeks of age.
