ApacheRidge Ranch is situated on five acres in the beautiful, green state of Washington: well known for it's wonderful, rainy, climate and lots of apples. At ApacheRidge: we love our Ridgebacks. Our dogs are first and foremost: our family pets and are loving members of our family. When we breed our dogs, we hand raise and heavily socialize and handle each puppy in our home with our 6 children and multiple friends so that each one will be a wonderful joy and beloved family member to their new owners.

All our dogs have Champion bloodlines and are selectively bred for health, good temperaments, laid back personalities, perfect bone structure, excellent confirmation, and unlimited versatility. We raise dogs with great stable mentalities, easy going temperaments, and are obedience dogs, tracking dogs and simply couch potatoes. We believe in quality before quantity and therefore we only breed occasionally.

We have Liver nose and Black nose dogs in addition to the gorgeous light wheaten all the way to that beautiful rich, dark red wheaten coat coloring. Our puppies for sale are of the highest quality and finest pedigree. Because our dogs are our precious family members: all of our puppies are whelped indoors and stay in our home until they are several weeks old and ready to venture into the great outdoors and wide open spaces and into a fully insulated, heated kennel area where they can run and play with mom, dad and other Ridgebacks and children.

We feed our beloved canine friends only the finest, healthiest, human grade, premium health food for dogs and superior Vitamins for Canines with all natural, human-grade ingredients, formulated by a team of concerned veterinarians, physicians, pharmacists and nutritional scientists and manufactured in an FDA human-grade facility. We do this for the love, health and longevity of our cherished dogs.

All our puppies are checked out thoroughly by our vet and another breeder, wormed at approx. 3, 5, 6, and 7 weeks, etc. and have their first set of booster shots. They are guaranteed free from dermoid sinus, sight or hearing impairments, and guaranteed to have perfect teeth. Their dew claws are removed at 2 days old. The parents are Orthopedic Foundation (OFA) and/or PennHip certified Good to Excellent for their hips. All thyroids have been checked and are normal. All are very strong, healthy, family hound dogs. All our puppies are purebred Rhodesian Ridgebacks, come with Certified AKC limited registration papers and are a perfect representation of the breed, being structurally and temperamentally suited as wonderful companions and loyal obedience dogs.

All our puppies come with a puppy packet in which you receive Certified AKC Limited Registration Papers and a contract requiring you to spay/neuter your pet puppy at the age recommended by your vet, a copy of the parents 4 generation Certified AKC pedigree, along with shot, worming records and health certificate from our vet, microchip and PETtrack paperwork, online links to some really great training web sites, comprehensive puppy training strategies with full, lifetime training support, a small bag of the healthy dog food your sweet baby is now eating, as well as information about the breed, a delicious hickory smoked beef bone, and a lifetime commitment to the ridgeback dog that will be in your care.

All our puppies are eligible to be entered in AKC licensed or member show events that include: Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility, Earthdog and can also qualify for Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Search and Rescue (SAR), and Certified Therapy Dog. Of course they all make wonderful family pets and loyal friends. For safety, all our puppies are microchipped with Eurochips and registered with PETtrack.

Our adult dogs have very sweet, friendly and child loving temperaments. We will ship on non-stop, heated, air conditioned, pet safe flights. We hope you enjoy looking at our dogs as much as we enjoy having them in our lives.
