Gregoires Labradors

Gregoires Labradors are located in the Hoosier State of Indiana, just a little east of Indianapolis about 30 minutes. We have been involved with conformation showing / raising and enjoying the English type Labradors for approximately 25 + years. Our dogs are the English blocky type look. We prefer the multi purpose lab, in that, we have had puppies grow up to be wonderful pet / family companions, 4-H, obedience competition dogs, show dogs, hunting dogs, or seeing eye and narcotic detection dogs. This is why the Labrador is such a versatile breed. Its wonderful. We love all three colors (Chocolate/Yellow/ Black ) Our goal is to maintain, soundness, intelligence and consistency in our dogs temperaments, conformation, and proper size and appearance. We screen our dogs for genetic faults in an attempt to improve the breed. Our adult labs are checked prior to being used in our breeding program for hip /elbow (OFA) and eye (cerf) conditions. We breed for good temperaments, looks, soundness. We often research thru many potential pedigrees before we can choose which dogs would make an improvement of their future offspring's. Our puppies are raised in the home with daily interactions so that they will know the human touch. We plan our litters to continue on our dog's blood lines. We provide our potential puppy adoptee with a folder that explains what worming, shots, and or medications that a new puppy may have already received. There are also copies of the OFA hip, elbow, eye cerfs, vaccination and medical records, and pedigrees with pictures of the parents included along with a puppy contract, feeding, and care instructions. Our pet prospects are placed with an AKC limited non breeding registration. We enjoy staying in close contact with our new friends in case there ever is need of future help in raising a puppy. We have many tips we can and do provide as a families puppy grows into an adult Labrador. We prefer that families drive to our home to select a puppy if possible. We occasionally have older puppies, and or adults available for a loving home. We do have a few litters available each year and select a few youngsters to carry on our lines .
