Green Meadows Kennel is located on our 11 acre farm in the Appalachian
Mountains of Alabama. We have a small breeding program where our Goldens are
enjoyed members of the family.
Our dogs get the benefit of the exercise, fresh air, and sunshine our farm
has to offer. And yes, we can say with honesty that we do hug our dogs everyday!
Our dogs are not at a loss for visitors; our three horses like to stop by the
kennel occasionally to touch noses with the dogs!
Here at Green Meadows Kennel, we love Golden Retrievers! Why do we love Goldens? Goldens are not only the most beautiful dogs (I'm biased. Sorry), but they are also the most intelligent and the sweetest dogs. We want to bring out the friendly, exuberant nature that is a vital part of a Golden Retriever.
Along with good temperaments, it is important we breed healthy puppies. Our dogs are tested through PennHip, OFA, and CERF for hips, elbows, heart, and eye health. They are also thyroid tested. A long healthy life is the goal.
