Description: The Yorkie Apso is a cross between the Yorkshire Terrier and the Lhasa Apso. They are not good with children, but do well in homes with just adults. However, they are loyal, affectionate and calm in personality.

Type: Non-sporting companion

Height: 8-11 inches
Weight: 7-15 pounds

Color: Variety of colors including whites, blacks, gray and silver, tan, brown
Coat: Long, silky; needs regular grooming and daily combing.

With Children: Low - not good with children.
With Pets: Low - they do not get along with other pets

Watch-dog: Low-Medium
Guard-dog: Low-Medium - will try to protect their territory, but doesn't have much strength to do anything about potential threats.

Care and Exercise: Likes to be pampered and needs little exercise.
Training: Low-medium; can be trained with consistency and firmness, however they can be very difficult to housebreak.
